Artist Bio & Statement
Laura Ducceschi creates photographs of the natural world that reveal universality and mystery by isolating and emphasizing intimate details.
Ducceschi is honored with awards from local, national and international organizations. Her photographs have been exhibited in art shows and galleries including The State Museum of Pennsylvania, Winterthur Museum, The Philadelphia Flower Show and Philadelphia’s City Hall. Ducceschi’s images have been published on the covers of books, journals and magazines as well as within the pages of publications. Her art is collected by corporations and individuals.
Laura has a Master’s Degree in Education from The University of Pennsylvania. As an educator, she helps photographers develop and communicate their artistic vision.
