Artist Bio & Statement
Deborah Northey lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania , with her husband. Watercolor and Oil are her choices of mediums. Landscapes and scenes from her sailing travels have been her favorite subjects. She is presently the president and treasurer of MCGOPA. She has been in several juried shows and has been an art donator to several non-profit organizations in the area.
“There is some beautiful scenery out there. I usually choose the scene or landscape that catches my eye. Could be the color, the stillness, the time of day, or the beauty of it all, that can stop me in my tracks. We are fortunate to have such beauty around us.”
