For many years I have been a beach comber and an urban street scavenger passionately gathering unusual objects and materials discarded by nature and man that speak to me. Wherever I travel I seek out beautiful papers to bring home to add to my collection.  I am inspired by nature’s beautiful colors, architecture and landscapes that surround us everyday capturing “life snaps” through my camera lens. This passion has led me to take numerous classes in watercolor, mixed media, paper making, printmaking and encaustic wax taught by inspiring artists/instructors.  When I enter my studio I bring these things together to create mixed media pieces combining bold colors, subtle tones, multiple textures and shapes. Look closely at my art and perhaps you will see something that captures your imagination and speaks to your soul.
